Known Issue: Script Fails in Composition onLoad Event Handler
Issue
Script runs as expected in Preview mode, but fails when exported, when the script is entered in the composition onLoad event handler
Solution
Enter your script at 00:00:00:00 in the Timeline.
Additional Information:
Objects in the composition are loaded after the composition. When you put code into the onLoad handler of the composition, any code referencing those objects will fail on
export.
Even though onLoad and time 00:00:00:00 would seem to be the same, doing this will affect your functions calls and loading of objects in the composition.
