How To: Creating a Signature Field with PDFMark in an EPS file
Summary
Creating a Signature Field in Word using an EPS file with PDFMark commands and then converting that Word file to PDF
Issue
A customer wants to add PDFMark to a MSWord doc by placing an EPS file
with the PDFMark commands embedded in it.
The PDFMark commands should replace that EPS with a signature field, or
at least place that signature field in the same location as the EPS
graphic. Ideally the simply place an EPS on the document whereever they
want a signature and run the PDF Maker Macro - Done.
Solution
1. Open a Word document in which you'd like to put a digital signature.
2. Place cursor where you want digital signature to go.
3. Select Insert > Picture > From File.
4. Browse to SignatureField.eps and insert it into the Word document.
5. Convert the Word document to PDF (Acrobat > Convert to Adobe PDF).
The resulting PDF file will contain a signature field, that can be signed by clicking in it with the hand tool in Acrobat.
